Ashcott Criminal Solicitors are pleased to announce that John Morris (Senior Solicitor) LLB Hons Liverpool has joined the Firm and will be heading up our Magistrates Department. John has 35 years experience in the area of Criminal and regulatory Law having previously been a partner at a leading North West practice.
John was the lead solicitor in the Court of Appeal POCA case of R v Gibson which determined that the POCA provisions did not take primacy over the common law. The case is of great assistance to spouses who find their partners embroiled in POCA confiscation/enforcement proceedings.
John has also been involved in numerous high profile murder and other serious crime cases and is a well known and respected advocate in the Criminal Courts.
